When Guruji blessed me with promotion

ज्यों ज्यों तेरा हुकुम थवई थ्यों होवणा ,

जेह जेह रखहे आप थेह जाये खड़ोवना ..

Only and only Guruji Maharaj decides when and how we become the recipient of His Divine blessings. Once He takes us under His wings, He plans the course of our entire lives. The only way to receive Maharaj's blessings is by totally surrendering to His Divinity.

With Guruji's blessings, in 2019 I had happily completed five years working for the same company. I thoroughly enjoyed my job and always strived for professional advancement. Intriguingly, between February 2018 and June 2019, my first level manager was changed three times! After working with each one of them for a few weeks, I was able to discern their severely incompetent managerial skills for such a highly dynamic environment.

As a result, in this period, the production of our team was brutally damaged. As a consequence, a towering amount of frustration started to build up within me. Since 2018, my promotion was in the pipeline but for some or the other reason, it kept getting postponed indefinitely. I used to work my fingers to the bone but the credit was conveniently taken away by my managers. This stress at work started to affect my personal life and increased the levels of my already existing anxieties.

In the back of my mind, I knew Guruji Maharaj was watching over me and will bless my professional life in His time! Certainly, anything is possible when you place your faith in Him.

On 13th May 2019, It had rained heavily overnight. The next day, on 14th May 2019, as a routine I arrived at work around 8:20 AM. As soon as I entered my office, which was on the street level, my jaw dropped in utter surprise! There was water falling right through the ceiling and the floor was completely flooded! I was flabbergasted to notice that the water which was falling through the ceiling was only falling over my desk! As a result, my workstation was completely drenched with water. The impact of the flood was so massive that we had to shut down the office for the next three days.

After three days, we resumed back to our regular schedule at work. Since my workstation was damaged due to water, I placed an order for a new workstation on our company's IT website. Immediately, I received an email as a confirmation of the order placed which was to be fulfilled in the next two weeks. Since my workstation was not functional, my manager directed me to resume work from her workstation in her cabin. I had always imagined myself in that cabin and happily followed her instruction. Soon after, my manager left for a two-week vacation. Meanwhile, I had completely forgotten about the order that I had placed for the new workstation. A lot of the customers who saw me sitting in the manager's cabin started to congratulate me - assuming that I had been promoted! At first, I began to correct them but then so many congratulations came my way that inadvertently I stopped correcting them! I had no idea that Guruji Maharaj's masterplan was in progress!

In the first week of July 2019, my second level manager visited my office. He, too, noticed that I was working from the manager's cabin. He came up to me and suggested to talk about taking up that office permanently! I had been waiting for this opportunity and was ecstatic to discuss this matter further with him! He also informed me that my current manager had unexpectedly resigned and will not report back to work! We had a great discussion and he reminded me to check up on the order that I had placed for the new workstation. I called the IT team and I was astonished to find out that they had no record of any such order! I sent them the email confirmation that I had received and they were startled to see that email! They decided to call it a "technical glitch" but by now I knew that this was an integral part of Guruji's masterplan!

In the next two days, I was formally informed about my promotion and my start date was the 8th of July 2019! Shukrana Guruji Maharaj for this immense blessing during your birthday week! Sangatji, Guruji Maharaj's birthday arrived and I attended Guruji Maharaj's satsang. Guruji Maharaj gave me the decoration sewa! That was the day when Guruji guided me in connecting the dots of all the above occurrences and I shared this satsang in front of Guruji Maharaj and his pyari sangat. Undoubtedly, the heavy rain on the night of 13th May was symbolic of the divine amrit varsha which literally paved the path for the promotion which Maharaj blessed me with.
