Lakh Khushiyan Patshahiyan

लख खुशियाँ पातशाहियां जे सतगुरु नदर करें....

The Divine Lord - our Guruji Maharaj listens to every thought that arises in our minds. He lovingly grants us everything that is beneficial for us. Maharaj's love for us is fixed as well as assured. It's absolutely miraculous to experience His bountiful love! Keeping this thought in mind, I would like to share a satsang from September 15th 2018.

With Guruji Maharaj's blessings, I had the opportunity to attend a satsang in Connecticut. The drive from Boston to Connecticut is about 3 hours. I was also accompanied by a few more sangats from Boston to the satsang. On our way, I was constantly requesting Guruji Maharaj to have the following shabad played during today's satsang- Lakh Khushiyan Patshahiyan because this was one of my favorite shabads. A very silly request from me as undoubtedly all the shabads are extremely beautiful.

During the satsang I eagerly kept waiting for this shabad and was a little disappointed when this shabad was not part of the playlist. Anyhow, the satsang moved to its next phase wherein various sangats were sharing their divine experiences with Maharaj and how they were blessed by His Grace. One of the sangats stood up and shared that she was a Sai Baba devotee as well and thanked Guruji for playing a Sai bhajan today during satsang. I again, jokingly, questioned Guruji in my mind that - since He had fulfilled other sangats wishes and played their favorite shabad but how has He forgotten me? Anyhow many other sangats shared their satsangs and we all heard them with our full attention.

At last, one uncle stood up and he said he would like to sing a few lines from a shabad for Maharaj. I was electrified as I thought maybe now he would sing the shabad that I had requested Guruji to be played in today's satsang! But he sang another shabad and was about to take a seat - just when he said I would also want to sing two lines from one more shabad and he started singing " Lakh Khushiyan Patshahiyan" !! There was no limit to my joy! Goosebumps sprang all over my body!

The reason behind sharing this satsang is to emphasize how Guruji listens to our each and every thought and ensures that we feel His presence in some or the other way. Shukrana Guruji for always being our ang sang, We adore you Guruji!
