The Red Rose Earrings

मेरे साहिबा कौन जाने गुण तेरे ,

केहये ना जानी अवगुण मेरे ..

Very true indeed. How can we ever know the glorious virtues of the Supreme Lord? I will share a remarkable satsang that happened with me in September 2018, which only and only could have happened with Guruji Maharaj's Divine Blessings. At that time, I was residing in Boston and was traveling out of state to Baltimore for work purposes over the first weekend of September. My flight from Boston was supposed to depart at 9:40 pm on a Friday. I received a text message from the airline at 7:00 PM informing me that my flight has been delayed and will not depart until 10:35 PM!

Soon after, within ten minutes, I received another text message informing me that the flight is further delayed and will now depart at 11:15 PM. By now I was very upset and worried but then thought every disappointment is a blessing in disguise and tried to stay calm while I was praying to Guruji Maharaj to help me figure out my travel situation. I was extremely tensed as I had to travel further from Baltimore to another city which was an extra two-hour drive from the airport. Moreover, there was a possibility of a severe rainstorm in that state at that time.

Anyhow, I took a cab towards the airport- constantly reciting Guruji Maharaj's mantra Jaap . I reached the airport around 7:50 PM and cleared the security checkpoint by 8:15 PM which was a surprise to me as it was a Friday and airports are usually packed during weekends. I thanked Guruji Maharaj and moved towards my boarding gate. By this time I found out that my flight was now delayed till 11:50 PM I was completely vexed.

I reached my gate and saw that another flight that was previously scheduled for 8:15 PM was delayed as well and was departing now which was 8:45 PM. I was trying to reach a customer service desk to ask them the reason for the delay of my flight by standing in the queue along with other passengers. Out of nowhere, a gentleman approached me and asked me if I was on the initial 9:40 PM flight which is super delayed and I said yes. He pointed me towards a service desk and said they were able to put him on this flight which was departing right now. And I must go talk to them!

I then asked Guruji for His help and intervention. Now it was 9:00 PM and the flight was almost boarded completely with the last few passengers getting into the flight. I told the customer service representative that I have to reach Baltimore timely and to check if they have any seat available for me on this flight. She said it’s very difficult but let’s see. And to my surprise, she said YES! Let me give you a new boarding pass. Within the next two minutes, I received my new boarding pass. And there I was the last person to board this flight at 9:10 PM!

Thank you, Maharaj, for sending that gentleman who pointed me in the right direction! Moreover, as I sat down on my seat I remembered that the representative who had helped me was wearing very large red earrings in the shape of roses! I know this was an indication of Our Guruji Maharaj's presence! I safely arrived at my destination. And to my surprise, the rain had stopped and I had no problem with driving. Thank you, Guruji for being with me always.
