Unexpected Change in Itinerary

मेरे सतगुरा मैं तुझ बिन अवरू ना कोए,

With Guruji Maharaj's immense blessings I got married in February 2020 in New Delhi which is another satsang in itself. Guruji blessed us with the most beautiful marriage ceremony and all our family members were extremely delighted as well as eternally grateful to the Maharaj for His meher.

We had booked our flight tickets back to Boston for the 8th of March 2020. On another note, the news about COVID-19 was slowly catching everyone's attention. We all were praying to the Maharaj to bless our journey back to Boston and that we reach our destination with no hurdles. We were also busy with meeting our relatives as the 8th of March was fast approaching. On the 4th of March, my father called me and expressed his concern over the severity of COVID-19. He further mentioned that if possible we must reschedule our flight. My instant reaction was - is that even a possibility as our flight was within the next two days? He further mentioned that we must go online on the internet and check to see if our flights can be changed. I immediately told the same thing to my uncle but we both were not too sure about the availability of a different flight because of the time crunch we were dealing with.

Anyhow, we quickly searched on our mobile phones and to our surprise, we found that the same flight that we were supposed to take on the 8th March was also available for the 6th of March, early morning, at almost the same price as our initial booking! Expedia also mentioned that only three seats left on this flight. We did not put much thought into it after that and changed our itinerary which meant we were leaving in a day! We started preparing our luggage and deep inside knew that Guruji Maharaj is guiding us and we will be able to connect the dots at a later time for sure! We knew that there must be a good reason why Guruji Maharaj does not want us to travel on our scheduled date. We boarded the flight from IGI airport in New Delhi on the 6th of March. We had a stopover in Doha for about two hours. The second flight from Doha, which was the longer one, had one empty seat next to us, of course for our beloved Guruji Maharaj! We reached our destination with absolutely no problem. On the 7th of March, I received an email from our airline informing us that the initial flight which we had booked for the 8th of March has been cancelled! We immediately thanked Guruji Maharaj for changing our flight and bringing us back to Boston safely.

Thank you, Guruji for Your love, Your care, and Your guidance. Thank you, Guruji for guiding us and for allowing us to change our flights otherwise we cannot even imagine our plight! At times, we fail to understand the different ways of Guruji but He never lets us down and always enlightens us in ways we cannot even imagine!
